Sunday Mornings
Adult Education Classes
Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
Our adult class meets weekly for Bible study, discussion on current social issues and contemporary books.
Monthly Gatherings
- Circle 4 is a women's discussion group that meets at 1 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month in member's homes. Recent books have been The Warmth of Other Suns, The History of God, and The First Paul. Contact Linda Lupton for more information.
- Other ad hoc groups included discussion on N.T. Wright's The Day the Revolution Began
SERMON DISCUSSION
Occasionally, just occasionally there is a sermon that merits extended discussion. This group meets monthly to discuss a sermon and how it affects our lives.
WHAT'S THE BUZZ?
Monthly large group gatherings on current issues the church faces. 'Buzzes' are held after church.
Special Themes
Special educational series are held as interest arises. In May we held a series of discussions on Jewish-Christian relations and the nation of Israel.
Past special programs have been held on:

Fellowship Groups
Men's Lunch
A Men’s lunch gathering at 1 p.m. every other Thursday. The group meets for conversation and fellowship at restaurants in the greater Indianapolis area at a different venue each time. They meet for conversation and fellowship. Contact Dan Kaufman for more information.
Women's Lunch
A Women’s lunch gathering for fun and for fellowship. No programs, no committees, no commitments. The Womens’ lunch Bunch (WLB) will meet at various locations around town on the second Thursday of each month. If you’re interested in a delightful outing with good friends, please contact Sue Chapman, and she will keep you connected.
Young Adults Group
The Young Adults Group meets monthly for various outings. Check the bulletin or Colony for the latest meeting schedule.
Plymouth Rockers
The Plymouth Rockers meet at noon the third Tuesday of the month in the parlor for a pitch-in lunch and discussion. Some of the topics they’ve covered include FCC music staff went in to church music to the 100 Acre Woods at the IMA. Contact Jon Staton for more information.
Circle 2
Circle 2 meets at 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of the month in the parlor for a pitch-in dinner and discussion. Topics that have been covered in the past include travelogues, Bible study, learning ASL basics, art projects, book reviews, and poetry. Contact Ann Leatherman for more information.
Circle 4

Spiritual Explorers
The Spiritual Explorers meet to review different methods of using the Bible for spiritual practices rather than as simply ‘Bible Knowledge’. Next up will be practicing the uses of music and poetry in our spiritual lives. Contact Jackie Gibson or Rev. Michael Montgomery for more information on this month’s explorations.
Faith In Action
Faith in Action attempts to help us connect our faith with the critical social issues of this day, and to do so not merely with vibrant discussion, but with works of love and witness. Primary emphasis will be directed to public education, immigration/DACA and gun violence.
