We have been fully accepting of people who were gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender since 1994.  Our church regularly performs weddings for people who are gay or lesbian. Many of our church leaders are lesbian or gay.

We witness to the love of God for all people, not just heterosexuals through participating in Indianapolis’ PRIDE parade and festival.  Open and Affirming (ONA) Team members participated in a demonstration in support of IUPUI when Westboro Baptist Church came to demonstrate against LGBTQ peoples.  We give funding and support to the Indiana Youth Group (IYG), a support group for youth who are non-heterosexual, and support the Damien Center, a local HIV prevention center in Indianapolis.
